Dutch – Under the weather

I have been remiss as of late. Being a little under the weather, I have not been listening to my training CD. It will be interesting how after a few weeks, just how much I’ve retained. Of course, learning to speak a bit of a language is not the same as writing a language. Just when I think the letter K should be used, I have found the sound is something entirely different.
“Ek ben”, “How cum dat?” and “Ek villa Raaaaack, en coffee” are a few things that have stuck. Don’t ask me if the spelling is correct though.
