Plugging the holes in the ‘Bat Cave’.
Well, here we are in day 3 and things are beginning to look like we might just end up having a home with openings that are as good looking as what can be seen through them. I must admit, the thought crossed my mind at one point that went something like, “I wonder if I could install windows myself?” All I can say about that was; it was a moment of insanity which quickly passed.

New Living Room window almost complete.

New Office Window

New Windows for the Entry
Tomorrow all the trimming work gets completed! How exciting! Well considering we could have gone on a tour of Europe for less than the cost of all these windows and doors, we feel a strong need to at least encourage each other to feel excited. If it wasn’t for the need of a place to live, a person really could do a lot more traveling. Of course then you still have the problem of were do you live after you leave work each day? So for now, we will treat this a just another of those required living expenses that a person just has to put up with.
Holy Cow Batman, what happened to the bat cave?
Ok, so we do not live in a Batman, our cave (home) sometimes needs just a little fixing. First there was the back yard fence. But no sooner was the exercise program project of rebuilding the back yard fence completed than the next project kicked into high gear.
Amazing just how ugly a great big hole in the side of the house can look.
