Think I am just thinking.

Words are but thoughts made visible.

It’s beginning to look a bit more like Christmas.

Yes, it is starting to look like a white Christmas is on it’s way to Nebraska.  At this point, all we know for sure is there will be temperatures down to near zero degrees (0 F) and the wind is going to be kicking into high gear.  Wind chills are supposed to be down in the minus ten to twenty ( -10F to -20F) tomorrow morning.  Then, the white stuff, otherwise known as snow is supposed to be on the way.

So for all of us looking out upon bare dry ground will shortly be seeing a change in color.  The ground will be turning white and we will be looking out the windows thinking to ourselves, “Boy it’s too cold to go outside!”   So, perhaps as the old saying goes, you should be careful what you wish for, as you may get it.

As for myself, if you subtract the high winds, I would be perfectly happy with the snow.  Thus far I have not really had to shovel any snow so far this winter.  I do kind of miss the challenge of seeing just how high I can pile the snow along the sides of the driveway.  Last year I hit over five (5ft) feet.  I would have hit six (6ft), but we ran out of winter.

So regardless of how much snow we get, wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
