Think I am just thinking.

Words are but thoughts made visible.

We recently returned home from a wonderful trip up the the upper North-West. Visited the Canada Waterton Lakes National Park and the USA’s Glacier National Park. The trip was rounded out with a two day tour through Yellowston National Park!
To start, the visit up into Canada was a very enjoyable drive and the views were fantastic everywhere we went. One of our first stops was the majestic Prince of Wales Hotel at the north end of Waterton lake which extends down and past the Canada/USA border. It is one of the few places where you can cross the border back and forth with out having to show any form of ID. But, unless you plan to hike for many days, I think you will want to plan on riding the boat back to the main dock.

Here is the view from the Prince of Wales Hotel. The view is worth every mile you may drive. If you want to spend the night, make reservations well ahead of time. Rooms start at about $250/night, and go up to almost $800 for the top of the line suite. There are more modest $150/night rooms in the town just down the hill, if you are interested.
